Mike Sinclair
Since the mid 1970’s Mike Sinclair has been working in all facets of the audio industry. Beginning with concert audio and touring sound systems to now becoming the go-to person in professional audio design and DSP programming. Many AV Installers and Consultants in the New York City marketplace representing major corporate conference spaces have come to rely on Mike’s DSP design and programming support. Being one of his specialties, he is often the designated programmer in Consultant Specifications, but also enjoys it as a service to Integrators in Design/Build projects. 30 years after he founded Audio Incorporated, he sold his ownership of the Rental Division in order to open Sinclair AV and focus on the Design, Installation & Sales work for which he has become a leader in the field.
Mike has assembled a team at Sinclair AV that work as a high-level design and programming resource, with a specialty in very large complex spaces and multiple room divide/combine conference centers. He immerses himself in these projects while also staying connected with his roots in live music production. The combination keeps him on top of and in-touch with the very latest in related technology. As a dealer for just about every audio product manufacturer in the market he is not only responsible for keeping up-to-date with new innovation, but is often called upon to advise manufacturers in development of new products.
Mike has become sought after for having a distinctive skill set that remains flexible within any environment. Live music production, live sports & television production, boardrooms, theaters, event spaces, galleries, alternative venues, auditoriums, athletic training centers, and movie theaters are just a few examples of the type of spaces Mike and his team have excelled in.
