If you are not constrained by a traditional competative bid process and you can find a design integrator that is experienced and trustworthy, Design Build might be the right path for your project.  Sinclair AV has the resources and experience to take you from concept to final commissioning. 

If you already have a favorite technology integrator but are looking for a design build consultant to help plan your vision, work with the design team on infrastructure & physical requirements and provide project oversite, SAV is happy to team up with the contractor of your choice.

Design Bid

If a more traditional competative bid is required to realize your technology project Sinclair AV is ready to guide you through that process. Our consulting team will help you define your needs & requirements and then put together a comprehensive bid package. We can conduct the bid process for you or work as a technical resource backing up your in house process. When the numbers come in we will qualify & level the bids and provide award recommendations.

Design Team/Infrastructure Coordination

Regardless of which path your project takes Sinclair AV will work as part of your design team to define and coordinate all of the technology infrastructure and physical requirements. 

Equipment Lists & Specifications

In the case of a competative bid, a comprehensive specification that defines the logistical and perfomance expectations for the project is a must. Accurate equiment lists and bid response forms leave little room for misinterpretation of system requirements and insure all bidders are playing on a level field.

Scope of Work

A clear and consice narrative for each system insures that everyone understand what makes up each system and how it must function and perform. A typical narrative would include:

• A description of the general purpose and reqwuirements for the system

• A description of system functionality

• System performance requirements

• Infrastructure requirements

• Physical requirements

• Major equipment

Comprehensive Drawing Packages

SAV provides industry standard CAD documentation as specifically required by each project. Typical drawing packages may include:

• Project notes and responsibility matrix

• Key floor plans showing all spaces that include technology on each floor

• Enlarged plans for each room/system that include device and infrastructure info

• Reflected Ceiling Plans

• Sections

• Elevations

• System Block Diagrams

• Device & mounting details
